I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll roles. I am looking for an assistant controller with experience in the real estate sector for my client.

This is a permanent, on-site position in Boucherville. Mission • Accounting Roleo Perform bookkeeping and month-end closing (full cycle) for the main company and several related companieso Produce monthly financial statements and analyze budget varianceso Produce various balance sheet and income statement analyseso Prepare year-end files for external accountantso Prepare budget forecasts for buildingso Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making• Commercial and Residential Leaseso Update and maintain commercial leases and price lists for residential buildingso Validate monthly invoicingo Prepare the allocation of common expenses and process annual adjustment invoiceso Prepare summary operating expense tableso Validate and track annual renewals for residential buildings• Other Taskso Promote innovation and participate in continuous process improvement projects;o Processing administrative payroll and submitting DAS formso Validating GST/QST returns Your profile The ideal candidate will be proactive, dynamic, rigorous, autonomous, resourceful, and a good team player;The candidate must have excellent prioritization and organizational skills, and be versatile;A bachelor's degree in accounting is required;A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required;Experience in the property management sector is essential;Knowledge of Maestro and Hopem software is an asset;Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required.
