What you will do Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Science & Insights, you will play a key role in transforming advanced machine learning models into scalable, production-ready solutions that deliver measurable business impact across Cineplex's diverse operations. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to bridge the gap between experimentation and deployment, ensuring models are robust, efficient, and seamlessly integrated into production environments. In this role, you will champion best-in-class software development practices and establish a mature Machine Learning Ops framework, accelerating the delivery of analytics solutions and enabling the team to operate with speed, reliability, and impact. Convert Machine Learning models into fully functional, user‑ready products that integrate seamlessly with business processes. Deploy and maintain models in scalable, production environments, delivering high‑quality, reusable, and well‑documented code. Optimize Machine Learning models and code developed by Data Scientists for performance, reliability, and scalability. Monitor and maintain production models and associated workflows, ensuring proper execution, scheduling, and operational health. Automate common machine learning tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Drive continuous performance optimization of Machine Learning solutions, implementing enhancements that maximize efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to design, build, and enhance Machine Learning solutions, providing technical guidance throughout the lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field Experience operationalizing machine learning models into production environments Hands‑on experience in machine learning, with strong mathematical and statistical foundations, proficiency in Python, R, and Apache Spark, and expertise in scalable distributed systems Experience with Databricks or similar cloud‑based platforms for building and deploying Machine Learning solutions Technical proficiency using TensorFlow and PyTorch Machine Learning Ops expertise, including CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring Databricks Machine Learning certifications preferred Inclusion & Diversity Cineplex, its subsidiaries, and affiliates are equal‑opportunity employers with a commitment to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
