Physiotherapy Aide

Northcott Lodge is a 73-bed long term care facility located in the town of Ponoka. We are looking for a motivated and reliable physiotherapist aides for the summer to assist the Physiotherapist with rehabilitation of our residents.

Physiotherapist Aide Responsibilities:
Assist in overall physical observation, assessment, monitoring and reporting resident status.
Assist in the creation of exercise programs in order to maintain the highest level of resident functions.
Maintain inventory and equipment and perform general cleaning duties as required.
Ensuring participants' safety.

Physiotherapist Aide Requirements:
High school diploma. Preference given to those with a Physiotherapist Aide education.
Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm; experience in long-term care setting an asset.
Must be a team player who is patient and sincere with excellent communication skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and time management skills.
Have enthusiasm, energy, and creativity.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.

Pay: $19.11-$23.58 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 32 per week
