Your New Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in contract analysis within the mining, oil, or gas industry. This is a full-time, 6-12 -month contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance and business needs. As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing, analyzing, and managing contracts to ensure compliance and optimize contract performance.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the end-to-end competitive bid process
  • Execute strategy development, evaluation of proposals, recommendation for awards
  • Formation and administration of contracts
  • Evaluate and monitor contract performance
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Report on opportunities to improve the cost and performance of suppliers
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams
  • Resolve issues that arise between contractors and project teams



What you will need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract analysis within the mining, oil, or gas industry.
  • Contract analysis experience with focus on services procurement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
