QA Inspector

**Job Title: QA Inspector****Job Description**The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our products. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, the Inspector will oversee daily auditing requirements for all incoming, in-process, and final inspections, manage the quarantine area, and communicate non-conformances to the department Supervisor and Quality Manager.**Responsibilities**Perform daily inspections in the machining and assembly departments, including 1st off approvals and incoming inspections verifications.Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.Ensure machine parts and automated valve assembly meet specifications through daily in-process auditing.Conduct audits on suspected defective products, segregating and labeling appropriately.Identify non-conforming materials and ensure timely disposition.Manage the flow of all returned goods and process inspections through the ERP system, recording relevant information.Complete gauge calibration according to the assigned schedule and maintain the internal calibration system.Collect, audit, and file quality records regularly.Perform capability studies and prepare reports as required.Adhere to safety procedures and company policies while performing duties efficiently.Communicate effectively with individuals across all organizational levels and with external clients.Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.**Essential Skills**2+ years of experience in quality inspection with various SKUs.2+ years of experience in a custom fabrication shop or machine shop.Proficiency in inspection and testing with gauges and calipers.Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to read blueprints.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Familiarity with calipers, blade mic, depth mic, thread ring gauges, plug gauges, height gauge.Understanding of form tools, drills, reamers, and thread mills.Certification in quality control is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Professional, organized, and capable of multitasking.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Flexible attitude and ability to take initiative.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Capability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.**Why Work Here?**Enjoy a huge opportunity for growth with yearly performance reviews and potential for salary increase.
