Located in Ville-Saint-Laurent, our growing team is looking for a self-motivated, professional QUALITY ASSURANCE COORDINATOR .

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Implement procedures and maintain documentation in compliance with CFIA regulations.
  • Maintain Organic, Fair Trade and Kosher certifications and keep associated files up to date.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to certification and food safety requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date spec sheets, allergen controls and other related documentation.
  • Communicate quality requirements with overseas manufacturers and monitor compliance.
  • Send, document and prepare products for third-party laboratory analysis.
  • Ensure laboratory results meet required specifications and food safety standards.
  • Perform and document visual and sensory tests on products.
  • Respond to quality-related customer inquiries over email and phone in a friendly and professional manner.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Languages: English and French.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Dropbox, Gmail).
  • Autonomous and versatile with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks and workflow.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience working in food quality control or certifications.
  • A genuine interest in organic, fair trade and plant-based foods.
