Commercial Director of Sales – Rahr Corporation RahrBSG is looking for a Commercial Director of Sales in Canada. The Commercial Director for Canada leads the strategic and operational commercial activities within the Canadian market, developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, leading and developing a high‑performing team, and consistently achieving profitability targets. Provide leadership during periods of change, fostering team stability, accountability, and sustainable operating models. Act as the business integrator, bridging customer needs, supplier priorities, and internal capabilities to deliver a unified market strategy. Implement systems and metrics for consistency and scalability of the sales activation process in Canada. Drive revenue growth within the Canadian market through comprehensive sales strategy. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the customer base. Activate against aggressive sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds goals. Manage the annual budget contribution, establishing growth metrics for individual team members and tracking performance. Oversee ongoing development of sales team members, ensuring revenue and profit goals are met. Lead and inspire a high‑performing sales team with coaching, professional development, and recognition. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Maintain strong relationships with craft brewers and industry partners. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Maintain and drive a robust opportunity pipeline through industry knowledge and sales cadence. Track competitor offerings, pricing, and strategies to align with market trends. Review and evaluate pricing quotes to position the company appropriately. Oversee negotiations and pricing agreements with key Canadian customers and suppliers. Drive sales initiatives and achieve quotas while collaborating with purchasing to ensure appropriate inventory levels. Work closely with marketing to develop campaigns supporting regional sales initiatives. Monitor sales performance metrics and generate reports for leadership. Prepare the annual sales forecast and budget for the assigned market. Develop, monitor, and manage the annual team travel budget. Perform other duties as assigned to support the company and operational needs. Minimum Education & Work Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant discipline. 8+ years of experience in a commercial selling environment. 4+ years of progressive experience leading teams. Commercial beverage industry or B2B distribution experience required. Advanced technical experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce experience preferred. Approximately 30‑50% out‑of‑town travel required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven leadership with decision‑making speed, strong business judgment, and entrepreneurial mindset. Self‑motivated contributor with high‑quality results and passion for the industry. Strong problem‑solving skills with analytical reasoning to drive solutions. Excellent collaborative relationships across functions and business units. Track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams through change. Professional communication skills, verbal and written, to internal and external stakeholders. Advanced financial expertise in forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, and margin analysis. Ability to identify business opportunities and adapt strategies to market changes. Budget and cost optimization experience within set spending parameters. Role model upholding company core values and fostering positivity. Influence actions and opinions of others and accept feedback. Visionary inspiration to peers and subordinates, driving operational excellence. Build rapport with senior decision makers and present market recommendations. Adaptability to fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities.
