Team Lead – Software Applications & Integration Development, IT (Remote) Join the Information Technology team at the Conference Board of Canada, the nation’s largest independent applied research organization, to lead enterprise software applications, integrations, and client‑facing economics forecast data products. About The Role As Technical Lead for the eData platform, you will design, develop, and maintain web and software applications, automate system integrations, manage internal applications, and oversee integrations with CRM, Business Central, and other modern platforms. You will coach and mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with business units to meet analytical and data delivery needs. Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications, software applications and integrations. Manage existing .NET applications, Microsoft web servers, IIS configuration and security. Perform performance tuning of integration scripts for Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 systems. Produce software architecture documentation, SOPs and user guides. Integrate commercial COTS and custom‑built products into the CBoC ecosystem. Develop KPIs and dashboards using Power BI, Graph API, Azure functions. Establish best practices using AI, containerization, and deployment automation. Lead and supervise development of complex solutions with third‑party vendors. Collaborate with business units to collect requirements for new applications. Conduct proof of concepts for new software technology and recommend to IT leadership. Demonstrate professional values through high quality work and positive interactions. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience training and mentoring web and application developers. 5+ years of relevant experience in software application design and development. Extensive experience in secure software architecture and modern design patterns. Demonstrated experience with C#, .NET, Java/JS, Laravel/P, API/Rest, Perl. Experience with cloud platforms Azure, Google, AWS and containers (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Azure, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Experience automating development workflows (CI/CD). Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Availability to work outside regular hours/occasional weekends. Remote work requires a reliable home office setup, internet service and safe environment. Nice to Have Microsoft certifications. Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and AI experience.
