The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on action to transform strategy vision to a solution architecture landscape which can provide clarity from business stakeholders to IT developers in different levels of details and language tailor to the different audiences, keeping the consistency across the solution ecosystems.
  • SAP driven landscape and knowledge on SAP ERP and S/4 to work on old/new world, identifying pre-requisites, issues and opportunities within the commercial and manufacturing landscape.
  • Assesses current state of solutions, defines future state needs, identifies gaps and recommends new technology solutions that are on the roadmap in addition to adapt to the SAPs roadmaps and new feature releases.
  • Actively support discussions and action driven meetings in order to improve and accelerate development within and across the teams
  • Facilitate stakeholder sessions with personnel across all disciplines in the company to identify and define requirements, assess business processes and evaluate technology solutions
  • Formulate business and logical data and solution architectures comprised of software, network, hardware and integration designs in close collaboration with the System and Integration team
  • Conducts impact assessments and mitigation plans
  • Works closely with Enterprise Architects on defining long term architecture vision, integration patterns and review of technical portfolio.
  • Creates and owns the Solution Architecture documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • SAP ERP and S/4 experience 5-10 years,
  • Experience 3-5 years with complex ecosystems, integrations with SAP systems (e.g. Master data management, middleware cloud services, on-premise services, SaaS, etc)
  • 7-10 years of professional IT experience. The person must have demonstrated an ability to think strategically and translate plans into operational excellence.
  • Understanding on product commercialization, supply chain and commercial manufacturing are a plus.
  • Domain knowledge in Technical Operations (Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics).
  • Expertise in multiple technologies domains (e.g. networks, systems, databases, security, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
  • Remains evergreen and keeps up-to-date with technology trends and emerging technologies
  • Proven experience of creating architecture designs using a formal architecture framework methodology TOGAF, Zachman.
