The Sequencing specialist oversees the accuracy, security, and completion of end-to-end movement of biomass and consumables across the Work-In-Progress (WIP), Production, and Finished Goods (FG) processes. This role works cross-functionally with Order Fulfillment, Production, Inventory Management, Planning, 3P Co-Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow, sequencing production plan creation in accordance with inventory & safety stock policies, production productivity KPI adherence, and timely issue resolution. Reporting to the supply chain manager this role will be based out of our Delta location. Responsibilities Oversee the accuracy, security, and completion of end-to-end movement of biomass and consumables across Work-In-Progress (WIP), Production, and Finished Goods (FG) processes in just-in-time (JIT) production environment. Collaborate closely with Order Fulfillment, Production, Inventory Management, Planning, and Logistics teams to align material availability with production requirements. Coordinate daily with cross-functional stakeholders to develop, communicate, and execute daily production plans. Monitor production execution against plan and proactively identify deviations or risks to schedule, materials, or output. Conduct 5Why root cause analysis for plan variances, material shortages, or process disruptions. Implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain production continuity and meet output targets. Optimize material and production flow through improved sequencing, setup reduction, and efficiency enhancements. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, material handling, and production scheduling and execution. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and inventory control requirements. Develop, monitor, and track weekly and monthly KPI’s related to production planning, attainment, and overall execution. Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure with tight timelines while maintaining a solution-oriented approach. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager. Knowledge & Experience Certificate or Diploma in Operations or similar field 2-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing, processing, or warehousing environment. Experience in CPG industry is asset. Courses or designation from APICS or other Supply Chain organization. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and material flow. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis. Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask Capabilities Acts as the gatekeeper of production flow, ensuring sequencing decisions support efficient manufacturing and processing operations Strong understanding of manufacturing and processing environments Solid grasp of end-to-end production and supply chain processes Comfortable working with and communicating across multiple stakeholder groups Working knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and material flow Experience evaluating scenarios and trade-offs is an asset Curious, adaptable, and solution-driven with strong time-management skills Collaborative by default, with the ability to take the lead when needed Why Join Us?
