As a Diesel Technician III, you will assist lead technicians and supervisors with truck repairs, component replacement, and preventive maintenance. The Tuesday to Saturday schedule runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm at 80 Production Dr. This entry level position suits candidates with mechanical or vehicle maintenance experience who are ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with removing, replacing, and repairing major components
- Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles as trained
- Repair brakes, fifth wheels, cab components, and accessories
- Complete minor electrical and trailer maintenance repairs
- Maintain work area appearance and safety
Requirements:
- One to two years of vehicle or truck repair experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current enrollment in an apprentice program required
- Working knowledge of hand tools required
- Class G or class 5 driver’s license required
Develop diesel truck repair skills at Penske through supervised maintenance, hands-on training, and progressive technician responsibilities in Scarborough.
