This position is integral to OMERS' Software Engineering team, collaborating with investment and corporate partners to develop comprehensive data capabilities. You will lead the design and execution of data platforms that facilitate analytics-driven decision-making while optimizing performance and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect solutions that advance data analytics and reporting.
• Direct the development and deployment of data pipelines.
• Establish rigorous testing frameworks for data integrity.
• Maintain Azure services adhering to security standards.
• Resolve technical challenges in data environments.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience on Azure.
• Deep understanding of data architectures and modeling.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data transformation.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline implementation experience.
• Familiarity with the investment and financial services sectors.
