Dedicate approximately 20% of time to direct project contribution,especially on high-priority technical tasks, design reviews, integration activities, and technical risk resolution. * Track function specific process maturity and gaps, implement new processes and procedures to fill gaps and ensure consistent delivery of outputs.* Contribute to cross-functional processes and procedures.* Launch and manage improvement initiatives focused on increasing the quality, consistency, and robustness of engineering outputs (e.g., standardizing drawings, checklists, and workflows).* Collaborate closely with the Design Assurance and Quality team to align processes, mitigate recurring issues, and meet compliance requirements.* Promote best practices in engineering execution, including effective documentation, peer reviews, and validation protocols.* Experience of leading multiple medium size Electrical/Electronics Engineering teams.* Detailed knowledge of Electrical/Electronics Engineering aspects preferably in the defence sector.* Experience in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders and senior management.* Experience across the whole project lifecycle, from bids and proposals through to in-service support.* The successful person must be able to gain the appropriate Canadian government security clearance and satisfy all requirements to be able to work on Canadian Controlled Goods projects* Degree level (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering discipline.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Breadth of exposure to the following types of electronics skills and tools:#J-18808-Ljbffr
