The Role Role Overview We are seeking a senior Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in Hybrid Cloud and Multi‑Cloud architectures to lead large‑scale client transformations. This role is designed for a consultative leader who can bridge business strategy, enterprise architecture, and cloud modernization, guiding organizations through complex journeys from on‑premises and legacy environments to Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. The successful candidate will define enterprise‑wide cloud strategies, architect hybrid and multi‑cloud target states, and oversee execution of cloud migration, application modernization, and platform transformation programs. You will act as a trusted advisor to CXOs, enabling secure, scalable, and future‑ready cloud operating models. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Strategy Partner with executive stakeholders to understand business strategy, operating models, and transformation priorities. Define enterprise cloud strategy, including hybrid, multi‑cloud, and cloud‑first approaches aligned with business outcomes. Develop current‑state and target‑state architectures, roadmaps, and transition plans covering infrastructure, applications, data, and security. Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance aligned with industry frameworks (TOGAF, CAF, Well‑Architected). Hybrid & Multi‑Cloud Architecture Architect hybrid cloud solutions integrating on‑premises platforms with Azure, AWS, and GCP. Design multi‑cloud reference architectures to address resilience, regulatory, data residency, and vendor diversification requirements. Select and standardize core platform services across clouds (compute, containers, networking, identity, data, and security). Ensure interoperability, portability, and operational consistency across cloud environments. Cloud Migration & Modernization Leadership Lead enterprise‑scale cloud migration programs, including assessment, dependency mapping, and workload prioritization. Define migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, rearchitect, retire) tailored to application and business needs. Oversee modernization of legacy platforms into cloud‑native, containerized, and microservices‑based architectures. Guide adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code to enable repeatable and governed cloud delivery. Security, Governance & Operating Model Define cloud security architectures across identity, networking, data protection, and threat management. Establish cloud governance models, including landing zones, policy‑as‑code, cost management, and compliance controls. Design target Cloud Operating Models, including platform teams, SRE/DevOps integration, and FinOps practices. Ensure architectures align with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements across industries. Oversight & Technical Leadership Provide architectural assurance across delivery programs, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and target architectures. Lead architecture reviews, design authorities, and risk mitigation activities. Mentor solution architects, cloud engineers, and delivery teams across multiple cloud platforms. Balance innovation with architectural discipline, scalability, and operational excellence. Client Advisory & Pre‑Sales Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on cloud, hybrid IT, and digital transformation initiatives. Lead cloud strategy workshops, architecture assessments, and executive briefings. Support pre‑sales efforts including solution shaping, RFP responses, and value articulation for cloud transformation programs. Contribute to development of reusable enterprise architectures, accelerators, and migration frameworks. Your Future at Kyndryl Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career.
