Salary: Sessional Lecturer I: $9,820.70 Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $10,510.04 Sessional Lecturer II: $10,510.04 Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $10,760.28 Sessional Lecturer III: $10,760.28 Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $11,030.36 Note: If rates stipulated in the collective agreement differ from those stated above, the agreement rates prevail. Qualifications Master’s (or higher) degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Mathematics Education. Teaching experience required. Course offered partly in active learning format; prior experience with this teaching style is an asset. Brief Description of Duties Lecturing in a large undergraduate course with multiple sections. Conduct office hours. Prepare class materials, tutorials, tests, and exams. Grade assignments and exams. Communicate with TAs. Attend orientation meetings and course organizational meetings. Additional duties as directed by the Course Coordinator, Undergraduate Administrator, or Associate Chair, Undergraduate. Classes, tests, and tutorials will normally be conducted in person.
