This Walmart Canada Meat Associate role combines customer service with hands-on department operations. You will maintain stock, pricing, signing, and product standards while preparing meat, cheese, and fried chicken. The work supports daily sales activities and a customer-ready department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the meat department clean, organized, zoned, and stocked
- Rotate stock and remove expired or unsellable products
- Ensure merchandise pricing, signing, labeling, and markdowns follow procedures
- Complete temperature checks and follow cold chain practices
- Prepare deli orders using slicers, ovens, and fryers safely
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Follow food safety, health, safety, and company policies
- Stand, bend, and lift inventory or supplies as required
- Lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
