SAP Cloud Integration Specialist

Overview We are seeking a SAP Cloud Integration Specialist / Developer to design, architect, and implement scalable integration solutions that support enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in SAP CPI/PI/PO platforms, SAP BTP, and cloud-based integration best practices. You will be responsible for leading integration projects end-to-end, ensuring technical excellence, security, and alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Develop and implement integration strategies and architectures aligned with business and digital transformation goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and deliver tailored solutions Architect and develop complex SAP integrations using SAP CPI, BTP, and PI/PO platforms Build and test proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate and extend integration capabilities Create comprehensive integration architecture documentation including flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and technical specifications Lead development teams and ensure adherence to integration design best practices and error handling frameworks Monitor and troubleshoot SAP Cloud Integration environments and implement corrective actions Keep current with integration trends, technologies, and SAP updates, particularly in the BTP ecosystem Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance and secure data handling Mentor junior integration team members and promote knowledge sharing across the team Partner with leadership to identify new business opportunities and expand the integration practice Technical Profile 8–12 years of experience in SAP CPI/PI/PO integration design and development Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP BTP, including API Management and Cloud Platform Integration Strong command of integration architecture, message queuing, and cloud-native integration patterns Proficient in Groovy, Python, or Java for scripting and extension tasks Skilled in SAP Cloud Integration Monitoring and Administration Familiar with SAP PI/PO architecture and migration practices Knowledge of integration design best practices and governance frameworks SAP Cloud Integration certification preferred Functional Profile Cross-functional collaboration with business analysts, developers, and enterprise architects Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities Experience leading or mentoring integration teams Comfortable engaging with leadership to support business development Understanding of compliance and data privacy in integration design Skills Summary Core Expertise: SAP Cloud Integration, SAP BTP, SAP PI/PO, Integration Architecture, API Management Languages & Frameworks: Groovy, Java, Python Reactive & Event-Driven Tools: Message Queuing (MQ), Event-Driven Architecture principles Cloud & Containerization: SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry (as applicable within SAP ecosystem) Database & Messaging: Integration Messaging Protocols (IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData), Queues DevOps & CI/CD: SAP Cloud Integration Monitoring Tools, Deployment Best Practices Other Tools & Technologies: SAP CPI Runtime, SAP API Management, Eclipse/IDE, Postman, Git (version control) Soft Skills: Team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, continuous learning, business acumen in integration strategy Compensation and Benefits The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $49.83/hour - $77.86/hour.
