We are looking for a Corporate Finance Associate to join our growing team. As an Associate at Hawkbridge, you will play a pivotal role in deal execution, investor engagement, and transaction structuring across our core verticals. You will work directly with client company CEOs, founders, and investors, gaining exposure to M&A transactions, growth equity financing, and project-based advisory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transaction execution for M&A, growth equity, and private financing transactions, ensuring timely and efficient deal processes.
  • Develop and analyze financial models, including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparables, to support valuation and transaction execution.
  • Draft and review key transaction documents, such as CIMs, investor decks, term sheets, and due diligence reports.
  • Manage relationships with institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, overseeing investor outreach and engagement.
  • Provide strategic advisory and coaching to clients, guiding them on valuation, deal structuring, growth strategies, and investor preparation.
  • Support the structuring and execution of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and private equity investments, including capital raises, due diligence, legal documentation, and investment execution.
  • Act as a key team leader, train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Contribute to a high-performance work ethic, ensuring integrity, accountability, and a strong team cohesion.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field, with a strong track record in transaction execution.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise (including DCF, LBO, M&A merger modeling, precedent transactions, and comparables).
  • Successful experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, private equity fundraising, and structured financing transactions.
  • Ability to draft, review, and refine transaction documents, including CIMs, investor decks, term sheets, and diligence reports.
  • Experience coordinating investor relations, managing investor pipelines, and facilitating capital raising efforts.
  • Exhibit high adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills, thriving in high-pressure deal environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, AI-powered tools, and key financial databases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or CPA designation is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
