Structural Engineer

Overview The Structural Division is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to support the growth of the office and the existing team in Abitibi‑Témiscamingue. Responsibilities Design and deliver various structural works. Assist the senior engineer in determining project‑specific needs, defining scope of work, and identifying steps and timelines. Work closely with clients to develop solutions. Prepare preliminary studies and reports as required. Perform design and calculations related to project requirements. Supervise the preparation of plans. Coordinate activities with other disciplines and client representatives. Draft technical specifications and reports. Coordinate between various stakeholders. Supervise construction when required. Provide technical support during construction work. Assist the senior engineer and manager in team development. Perform any other tasks related to these functions. Comply with rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety and environmental protection, and proactively improve health, safety, and environmental procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and/or construction engineering. 5+ years of relevant experience in the field (building or industrial). Knowledge and proficiency in structural modeling software (e.g., SAFI, ADA‑Graitec, Etabs). Project management experience is an asset. Experience in a consulting engineering firm is an asset. Logical mindset and attention to detail. Valid Québec driver's license and ability to travel throughout the province. Availability to work, when required, in remote areas (Baie‑James, Northern Québec). #J-18808-Ljbffr
