Killarney Family Physician - Fee For Service - (1613) Job Title: Killarney Family Physician - Fee For Service Location: Tri-Lake Health Centre - Killarney, MB R0K 1G0 CA (Primary) Job Type: Standard Application KILLARNEY FAMILY PHYSICIAN (Tri-Lake) Work Location: On site – Tri-Lake Health Centre (86 Ellis Drive, Killarney, MB R0K 1G0). There is no option to work remotely. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Anticipated Shift: Full Time, Days, Early Mornings, Mornings, Evenings, Nights, On Call, Weekends Daily Hours Worked: Various hour shifts (30 to 40 hours per week) Position Type: Fee for service Wage Rate: Compensation is fee-for-service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates. Benefits are not provided, but may be purchased if the successful candidate so desired. Position Summary: Tri-Lake Health Centre is a 26 bed acute care and 60 bed long term care facility offering services including Diagnostic, Emergency, Public Health, Mental Health, and Rehabilitation. Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Tri-Lake Health Centre. Duties include performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders, and injuries of patients, acting as the primary care provider, and providing continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues. Work Setting: Private practice, Rural area Credentials The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba Must be a member of CMPA or provide proof of equivalent malpractice insurance Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality Good work and attendance record Security and Safety • Complete and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate. • All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with the Prairie Mountain Health policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
