Base pay range CA$80.00/hr - CA$90.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Professional Recruiter at Insight Global Job Title: SAP Functional Consultant – Omnichannel Location: Remote Canada Contract Length: 6 months (w/ extensions) Insight Global is looking for an SAP Functional Consultant, Omnichannel, to join one of North America's largest retail companies. As an SAP S4 FC, you are a key part of a team that conducts the design and deployment of SAP S4 Sales and Distribution (SD) and SAP CAR (POSDTA / OAA / OPPS/ AMR) solutions by supporting projects and operational teams in aligning business needs with module and solution functions. You will operate closely with business counterparts to design and create SAP solutions which will enable and improve business processes to facilitate business goals and strategies. Day to Day • Facilitate the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP S4 SD, CAR, and associated modules to meet the company's business requirements, ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction. • Coordinate and execute Change Requests from process design through functional specifications and implementation, including managing resource partners for comprehensive process coverage. • Collaborate continuously with business stakeholders and peers to gather and interpret user/system requirements, identify pain points, and address process issues. Develop and maintain a prioritized list of change requests. • Lead stakeholders in detailed business process blueprint activities to create blueprints and use cases/user stories. • Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities, including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms. • Execute unit testing, functional testing, and system integration testing to ensure standards are met. • Provide 2nd/3rd level support and liaise with key users to troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Participate in the development and review of training materials, and assist in training delivery for new SAP releases or changes and enhancements in SAP functionality. Stay updated on SAP best practices, roadmap, and technologies to make informed architectural and design decisions. Must haves: • You have a relevant university degree or technical diploma and a minimum of 8 year’s related experience in SAP System development and sustainment. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered. • You have 6+ years of recent experience with distribution and transportation business processes, ideally in the world of retail, wholesale, fashion, footwear or similar • You have 6+ years of functional experience in SAP SD (EWM an added benefit). • You have a background in implementing SAP S4 and/or SAP FMS, SAP AFS. • You have knowledge of SAP integration with automated warehouse solutions and 3PLs • You may have experience with SAP GTS or ShipERP as an additional asset • You are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a team Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Insight Global by 2x Get notified about new SAP Functional Consultant jobs in Canada .
