JOB SUMMARY:

Supporting our manufacturing team by assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data collection, preparation, and analysis for process monitoring and elimination of recurring issues
  • Gather data from various sources and streamline data collection methods
  • Organize the data to ensure data is accurate and consistent across sources and meet analytics requirements
  • Use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyse data, identifying patterns, trends, and relationships
  • Create visual presentations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable

Training and Development

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts in developing training materials
  • Support new employee onboarding process
  • Conduct training evaluations to track and measure the effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments, performance metrics, and feedback from employees and managers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary student currently pursuing a program in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Data analysis skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change
