Kilmarnock Enterprise seeks a Journeyman Welder/Fitter/Fabricator with five years of experience. The work includes production, service, repair, prototype, and fitter welding. You will use fabrication techniques, machinery, hand tools, and written instructions while moving between assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
- Operate GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, and OAW equipment
- Assemble, fit, and weld metal sections and plates
- Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits
- Monitor fabrication quality and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Five years’ Journeyman Welder/Fitter experience
- Interprovincial Red Seal or CWB tickets
- Valid GMAW and SMAW certification in all positions
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
