Job Description Salary : Role Summary The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of UNIX-based systems supporting Directory One operations. This position involves advanced troubleshooting, process optimization, preventive maintenance, and mentoring junior analysts. The role requires technical depth, leadership in problem resolution, and a proactive approach to maintaining high system availability. Key Responsibilities Operates enterprise UNIX computer systems in a big-data communication environment. Read and understand manuals and instructions to perform job duties and monitoring activities. Performs scheduled tasks per documented instructions / processes or manuals. Maintains operations by monitoring error logs, alarms, and messages from the computer system observing peripheral equipment. Generates reports from batch jobs and distributes to end-users. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and executes triage of technical problems. Responds to incoming telephone calls, email, and voice mail inquiries from internal customers regarding infrastructure related problems. Maintains the storage media inventory. Makes appropriate changes to the documentation and contributes with individual experiences. Qualifications and Skills Communication skills, bilingual : French / English Proficiency in UNIX environments Reporting skills Problem solving Be familiar with a computer network environment Ability to create and update documentation Microsoft Office Suite Confidentiality Education and Experience Bachelors degree or diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, IT operations, or UNIX system administration. Hands-on experience with IBM AIX, RS6000, H50, or other legacy UNIX environments preferred. Work Schedule Rotating shifts covering Day (7 AM3 PM), Evening (2 PM10 PM), Night (9 PM7 AM), and Weekend (7 AM7 PM). On-site presence required due to the secure and closed network setup. #J-18808-Ljbffr
