Senior Electrical Designer We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Global Minerals & Metals (M&M) team and support our growth to align with the demand for responsibly sourced critical minerals. The Senior Electrical Designer will support all Electrical activities during a mineral process plant design in all phases of a project execution. This opportunity will be based in Toronto, with potential work at client sites and future relocation to other Canadian or international destinations for extended periods. Responsibilities Preparation of electrical single line diagrams, motor control schematics, wiring and interconnection diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical panel design. Development of cable block diagrams and cable and conduit schedules. Design of physical layout of electrical equipment, raceway and grounding plans related to various facilities within the plant. Preparation of cable and raceway routing layouts. Perform site visits. Design and development of electric heat tracing systems. Perform drafting and drawing tasks using AutoCAD 3D, Smart Plant 3D, SPEL, and Revit. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 3D modeling tools. 20+ years of experience working as an Electrical Designer. Experience in a consulting environment is beneficial but not required. Knowledge and application of the Canadian electrical code is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated excellent written and oral English communication skills. Innovative, forward-thinking mindset, enjoys challenges, and actively seeks to develop and improve work processes. Compensation Expected compensation for this role is between $120,600 and $165,900 annually (Ontario only). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters such as skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
