Our team composed engineers collaborate with clients to design buildings and processes that are on track for safety, performance, and sustainability. Your Duties Acts as liaison for BIM related subject matter both inside and out. Developes interdisciplinary standards and process improvements revolve to BIM project delivery. Provides direction and assist project teams with project setups and deliveries. Work with project managers and technical design staff to prepare drawing documents. Reviews projects for firm and project criteria. Evaluates and recommends BIM related software. Crea end user training and support materials. Takes leadership for the set-up, maintenance, and development of our project models. Produce families and other electronic template documents respecting corporate guidelines for our multi-discipline studios. Over see and drive in BIM execution plans for projects. Ensures fidelity for project models to the BIM execution plans. Communicate corporate initiatives and standards to studio. Offers inhouse BIM bigger aid including: - Creates electronic filing words in compliance with Stantec and client requirements. Converts at markups to document-ready work. Publishes, posts, and managed drawing sets. Maintains drawing revisions. Assists other staff with Revit issues and mentors design staff in Design Technology systems usage. Add insights and recommends to add efficiencies and value to BIM production. Increases technical and project knowledge by proactive identify and participate in training opportunities. Attends inhouse project meetings and external meetings. Actively participates in meetings, initiatives, and projects that support studio and firm-wide objectives. Your Capabilities And Credentials Strong working knowledge of recent versions of Revit and how they are applied inside the built environment. Strong working knowledge of Building Information Modeling. Certifications relevant to the role. Revit family creation and maintenance. Skilled at clash detection in Revit. Clash / BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, detection skill with ACC Model coordination / Revizto / Navisworks is preferred. Familiarity with dRofus data management is preferred. Client-centric, can-do approach to project work and assignments. Familiarity with methods of design to support the architectural/engineering field. High level of initiative, with ability to synthesize new technologies, industry trends, and client needs to make recommendations and initiative changes that add efficiency and value. Ability to multitask and synthesize multiple data points and instructions to timely produce accurate deliverables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Education And Experience Certificate from a technical college. Advanced degree in a Related field to prefer. Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with Revit, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience on projects in excess of 750,000 square footage is recommended. Related experience in the architectural/engineering/contractor industry. Familiarity with architectural or engineering design within the built environment is preferred. Experience in health care and industrial market sectors recommended. Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit required, Navisworks, Rhino, dRofus preferred) Experience with general business software (Microsoft Office suite). As the nature of business demands change so may the functions of this position. Additional duties and responsibilities can be assigned. Typical office environment working with computers and remain sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may includes exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Pay Range Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC$82,000.00 - $118,900.00 Annually Locations in Lower Mainland - BC$86,900.00 - $126,000.00 Annually Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-timing roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
