POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Complexe Gouin Langelier located in Montreal North, close to all services, and with easy access to public transportation is currently looking for passionate people for the position of server/waitress, to join our dining room team, and to ensure that the services we provide in the lives of our seniors are maintained.
Permanent part-time position, 24 hours a week, daytime from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., 4 days a week and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards
Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
Perform other related duties
Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
