We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in algorithmic problem-solving, extensive experience in multiple technology areas including Angular, AWS, Java, JSON, MongoDB, and a proven track record of designing and implementing high volume, high availability applications with a focus on automation. The successful candidate will possess excellent facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, and be adept at navigating both abstract and concrete concepts to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid- 2/3 days onsite in a week)

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Utilize strong algorithmic skills to solve complex technical challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code in Angular, Java, and other relevant technologies, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Design and implement highly available, high-volume applications with a focus on automation to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Facilitate discussions, negotiate agreements, and foster collaboration among team members to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into understandable terms and adapting communication style to suit the audience and context.
  • Quickly adapt to organizational dynamics and management priorities, working effectively in a fast-paced environment to deliver results on time and within scope.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing high volume, high availability applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular, AWS, Java, JSON, MongoDB, and other relevant technologies.
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems using algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, quickly understanding organizational dynamics and management priorities.
