Woodbine Entertainment seeks a Retail Attendant for its overnight shift in Etobicoke. You will support retail and program services, valet, lottery, and cash advance transactions. The work requires accurate point-of-sale processing, cash handling, customer communication, and closing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with retail purchases in gift stores
- Process payments and sales through point-of-sale systems
- Prepare deposits and reconcile end-of-shift variances
- Process lottery transactions and customer payouts accurately
- Complete required inventory sheets and closing documentation
Requirements:
- Professional, courteous customer service approach
- Understanding of cash handling and processing methods
- Working knowledge of cash registers and tendering procedures
- Accuracy performing basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
