Director, Financial Planning & Analysis The Director, FP&A is responsible for providing proactive, insightful financial and business analysis to enable the business to reach its short- and long-term strategic and financial objectives. The role has two purposes: Corporate FP&A Leadership: Lead the budget, target setting, management reporting, and financial analysis functions for the organization, partnering with senior leadership and the Board to provide corporate financial information in a concise and meaningful manner. Enterprise Shared Services Finance Business Partnering: Oversee FP&A processes for QFG’s Enterprise Shared Services that include in-year forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and business decision support. Leading a team of 4 and reporting to the Managing Director, FP&A, the incumbent will balance time between the two focus areas. Responsibilities Act as a business process owner for the annual budgeting, target setting, management reporting, and financial analysis processes QFG-wide. Manage consolidation of targets, budgets, and management financials. Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to review, challenge, and finalize targets and budgets. Lead monthly review of consolidated management results, coordinating inputs from all QFG businesses, analyzing results, and providing insights to stay on track with budgets and strategic goals. Lead enterprise-wide initiatives requiring cross-business involvement (e.g., reorganizations, master data changes, FP&A process changes, cost reductions, productivity assessments). Prepare communications and presentation materials for the QFG President, CFO, and the Board as required. Enterprise Shared Services Finance Business Partnering Manage preparation of targets, annual budgets, and financial forecasts. Lead monthly and quarterly operating results analysis and reporting. Develop and present slide decks to business and finance leaders for communication of analysis, budgets, forecasts, and results. Lead preparation and tracking of business cases for new initiatives and products. Identify, plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A. Motivate, develop and manage the performance of direct reports. Qualifications Hold a degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field Hold a relevant professional designation or equivalent (CPA, CFA or MBA) 5+ years of experience in a similar role 5+ years of experience in a leadership position Advanced proficiency in Excel Ability to translate business models and initiatives into quantitative models High proficiency in turning data into insights and recommended actions Superior collaboration and stakeholder management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with senior leadership Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments with competing priorities Proactive and results-driven Strong team player with a growth mindset Additional Kudos Experience in Controllership / Financial Reporting Experience in the financial / investment industry Experience with NetSuite, Oracle EPBCS, and Google Suite How to apply We are looking for our next Director, FP&A.
