Planitar is seeking an experienced Vice President, Operations to lead and scale our global operations team, with responsibilities spanning across Draft Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics, Quality, and Product Support. This senior management position is designed to provide strategic guidance and hands‑on operational leadership as Planitar continues to grow. The VP, Operations will take a holistic view of our end‑to‑end operations ensuring the systems, processes, and people are aligned to deliver best‑in‑class performance, quality, and customer experience. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders across Sales, Product, Finance, and People & Culture to strengthen operational foundations, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency across all departments. Job Duties Operational Leadership & Strategy Provide executive oversight and strategic leadership across Draft Operations, Quality, Camera Manufacturing, and Product Support functions. Define and execute a multi‑year operations roadmap focused on scalability, automation, and continuous improvement. Partner with senior leaders to align operations with company goals, ensuring that our systems and processes enable sustainable growth. Monitor and optimize key operational KPIs and SLAs across departments, driving accountability and data‑driven decision‑making. Champion a culture of excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization. Draft Operations Leadership Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Senior Draft Operations Manager and their global team across five regions (Canada, Philippines, Colombia, Macedonia, and Malaysia). Ensure that global drafting standards, policies, and quality benchmarks are upheld and continuously improved. Identify and implement opportunities to optimize production workflows, enhance automation, and reduce turnaround times while maintaining accuracy and quality. Oversee workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource allocation to meet changing business demands. Facilitate collaboration across Draft, Quality, Engineering, and Product Support teams to drive efficiency into the order‑fulfillment process while continuously improving quality of deliverables and overall customer experience. Quality & Compliance Oversee quality assurance across all operational outputs, ensuring deliverables consistently meet Planitar’s high standards for accuracy and presentation. Champion process control and auditing mechanisms to proactively identify performance gaps or systemic issues. Support the evolution of quality management and learning management systems and frameworks that enable scalable, data‑drivenimprovements. Manufacturing & Supply Chain Oversee the production and supply chain of iGUIDE camera systems, ensuring reliable sourcing, inventory management, and predictive stock levels. Evaluate and strengthen vendor partnerships and logistics processes to improve cost‑efficiency and predictability. Work cross‑functionally with Finance and Product teams to align production planning with business demand and roadmap priorities. Product Support & Customer Experience Provide strategic oversight of the Product Support team (call center), ensuring effective support operations and knowledge‑sharing processes. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify recurring customer issues and translate them into product or process improvements. Monitor support performance metrics, identifyingtrends and implementing actions to enhance customer satisfaction. People & Leadership Lead and mentor a diverse team of operational managers and specialists, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and innovation. Build leadership capability within the operations function, empowering managers to scale their teams effectively. Partner with People & Culture on succession planning, workforce optimization, and engagement strategies. Communicate a clear operational vision that connects day‑to‑day work with broader organizational goals. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, production, or manufacturing, with at least 3‑5 years at a senior or executive level. Proven success scaling large, multi‑region operational teams in a technology, manufacturing, or production environment, preferably leveraging global BPO staff‑leasing partners. Strong command of operational efficiency, process improvement, and systems optimization. Demonstrated experience leading through growth and change, introducing structure, tools, and metrics to scale effectively. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar). Excellent business acumen with the ability to align operational strategy to financial outcomes. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels of the organization.
