Key Responsibilities Translate product goals into compelling, player-first features and experiences; lead these features from early concept through release. Drive the creation and evolution of high-impact gameplay, systems, and live content features, ensuring clarity of vision, scope, and success criteria. Serve as a primary connection between design, development directors, and partner teams—ensuring alignment on what we are building, why, and how. Partner with Line and Lead Producers to define long-term goals and contribute to the franchise vision. Work closely with Design, Engineering, Animation, Art, UX, and QA teams to ensure delivery quality, predictability, and cohesion. Partner with Development Directors to manage schedules, milestones, feature backlogs, and sprint commitments. Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, and opportunities across partner teams and central groups. Use player feedback, data insights, competitive analysis, and design sensibilities to inform priorities, tuning decisions, and long-term roadmap considerations. Understand and contribute to gameplay feel, balance, and systems design to support polished and responsive MMA gameplay experiences. Represent the voice of the player, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations for the team. Build excitement and alignment around features by pitching concepts, presenting progress, and driving shared understanding across disciplines. Communicate status, risks, and blockers effectively to production and leadership partners. Guide junior team members by modeling strong collaboration, accountability, and creativity. Required Skills And Qualifications 5+ years of experience in game production, product management, game design, or similar roles within entertainment or technology. Proven experience leading the delivery of features from concept to ship, with strong familiarity in both Agile and waterfall development processes. Experience building online-enabled features and an understanding of matchmaking, social systems, and live service considerations. Demonstrated ability to create staged product plans, user stories, and clear feature requirements. Ability to use data, insights, and player feedback to inform planning and decision-making. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and motivate teams across disciplines. Experience defining or contributing to feature-level vision and long-term player experience goals. Ability to pitch concepts to leadership and articulate rationale behind priorities and design directions. Comfort guiding or mentoring peers and junior staff in problem-solving and creative thinking. Broad understanding of gameplay fundamentals, balance, pacing, and player engagement drivers. Bonus Skills Experience with UI/UX or game design. Technical aptitude (scripting or light programming familiarity). Experience working in R&D or innovation-oriented environments. Passion for combat sports, mixed martial arts, UFC, or sports games in general. Compensation And Benefits The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). Pay Ranges British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD In British Columbia we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
