Base pay range CA$140,000.00/yr - CA$162,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from TEEMA Senior Associate at TEEMA Solutions Group Work Model Hybrid : 2–3 days onsite weekly in Vancouver or Toronto office (city nearest you) About the Role We are seeking a Security Architect who can lead security design, governance, and architectural oversight across the organization. Please note: This is a strategic, project-driven role , not an engineering or operational deployment position. You will guide teams, review designs, define standards, and ensure best-practice security architecture across major initiatives—including identity modernization and Zero Trust programs. What You Will Do Lead security architecture design, review, and governance across projects Create security standards, documentation, patterns, and architectural guidance Participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and ensure compliance with governance processes Support teams with expertise (but not deployment or operations) Provide security oversight for initiatives such as: Cyber maturity improvement programs Payment modernization Identity modernization Zero Trust roadmap Assist Security Operations (~10% of the role) as a subject‑matter advisor What We Are Looking For Core Requirements 5+ years recent experience as a Security Architect (not Security Engineer) Strong experience with: Identity architecture / identity roadmaps Zero Trust frameworks API Security Strong understanding of architecture governance, design documentation, and review processes Ability to work in fast‑paced, mid‑size organizations Strong communication skills and ability to influence executives and stakeholders Comfortable defining structure and improving processes where they don’t yet exist Ideal Candidate Profile Governance‑focused mindset Understands boundaries between architecture and operations Provides guidance and oversight—does not manage deployments Able to explain architectural decisions clearly and tactfully Experience working with ARB or architectural governance forums Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at TEEMA by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
