The role We are looking for a high‑impact Strategic Growth Lead to launch and lead Fiat Republic’s commercial expansion in North America. This is a full‑stack closing role for a senior commercial operator, meaning you will directly own the revenue number. You will lead our commercial expansion in North America and will be tasked with identifying, negotiating, and closing US and Canadian crypto platforms (Exchanges, Wallets, CASPs, OTC Desks) that need our regulated European banking and payment infrastructure. What you will do Generate and own the US/Canada pipeline: You are responsible for the full sales cycle - from independently sourcing net‑new opportunities, prospecting and qualification to structuring deals and closing contracts. Monetize the European expansion trend: Target US crypto companies expanding to Europe/UK who need immediate access to EUR/GBP (other) rails and CASP‑compliant safeguarding. Hunt high‑value logos: Leverage your existing network to bring in Tier 1 & Tier 2 crypto exchanges, custodians, and fintechs. Boots on the ground: Represent Fiat Republic at key industry events in the region (e.g., Consensus, Bitcoin, Mainnet) and travel to major crypto hubs (NYC, Miami, SF) for face‑to‑face meetings. You understand that high‑value institutional deals are built on in‑person trust. Structure commercial deals: Independently negotiate commercial terms, FX spreads, and TPV pricing (within approved pricing policies). Market intelligence: Act as our eyes and ears on the ground in North America, feeding back regulatory shifts and competitor movements to the Product and Strategy teams. What you bring Your rolodex: You have an active, verified network of decision‑makers (CFOs, Heads of Payments/Treasury) at US‑based crypto and fintech companies. Closing experience: 6+ years in commercial roles within Crypto, Banking‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS), or Payments. You have a track record of closing revenue, not just booking meetings. Subject matter expertise: You understand the banking challenges crypto companies face (e.g., the Silvergate/Signature fallout) and can articulately sell Fiat Republic as the safe, regulated European solution. Autonomy: You are comfortable working as our primary commercial lead in the time zone, executing with minimal hand‑holding. The offer Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience.
