Your new company Hays has partnered with a residential construction and renovation company that specializes in full gut renovations of single dwelling homes, additions and more. They put their clients' needs first and help them fulfill their vision of their dream home. Your new role Reporting to the Director of Operations, our client is hiring a Project Manager. This individual will manage jobs sites and day-to-day operations of the respective residential projects he or she is assigned to. They will adhere to the budget, maintain a schedule according to the calendar and attend weekly meetings either virtual or on-site. They will collectively collaborate with the site supervisor to ensure all scope of work is financially accounted for and deliveries, trade scheduling etc. are in line with expectations. Finally, they will attend pre-PDI and PDI meetings to explain differences in warranty work and deficiencies and confirm that the work is satisfactory. What you'll need to succeed The successful Project Management candidate will have at least 7 years experience managing large residential renovation projects. They will have experience in budget control and scheduling, be organized and detail oriented and be able to manage their time effectively. They must have experience with project management software. Builder Trend would be considered a definite asset. Finally, they will be an effective communicator, understand the whole life cycle of a residential construction project and be able to work independently as a self-starter. What you'll get in return Base salary with a profit-sharing match will be included in the compensation package. You will receive paid time off and holidays.
