Measure recipes and monitor production machines as an Ovenroom Machine Operator with Shearers Foods, working Monday through Friday mornings.
This food manufacturing position supports Shearers Foods baking operations and requires recipe measurement, production records, tooling sanitation, and machine fault response. Operators perform duties across the Baking Department, including Cream Spreader Operator, Batter System Operator, and Crème System Operator work. The schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure ingredients according to batter and crème recipes
- Monitor machines and respond to faults
- Maintain material use and production records
- Assemble, disassemble, and clean production tooling
- Keep work areas clean throughout production
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills for production operations
- Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to move, twist, or lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to team lift 75 pounds
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and recipes
