Shannex seeks a Suite Services Attendant / Housekeeper for its Halifax community. The work includes commercial housekeeping, laundry, infection control, customer service, and safe equipment use. Your efforts support quality accommodations, services, and care for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean lobbies, hallways, stairwells, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Collect and dispose of refuse according to procedures
- Complete routine task documentation, audits, and inspections
- Provide residents’ personal laundry services as requested
- Maintain housekeeping carts and communicate supply needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum one year of commercial housekeeping or laundry experience
- Knowledge of infection control and prevention practices
- Ability to use auto scrubbers, floor buffers, and vacuums
- Clear criminal record check required before appointment
