Overnight Grocery Clerks at Metro stock shelves, organize deliveries, and support customers part time at 500 Edinburgh Road South in Guelph.
This permanent part time position supports Metro’s grocery operations during overnight shifts. You will unload deliveries, restock merchandise, rotate inventory, maintain store cleanliness, and assist customers. The work also includes displays, pricing, inventory accuracy, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload deliveries and organize products in backrooms or coolers
- Restock shelves and rotate products using first in, first out
- Maintain clean aisles, shelves, floors, and store areas
- Assist customers with products, recommendations, and shopping needs
- Maintain displays, signage, price tags, and inventory accuracy
Requirements:
- Customer service driven approach and good product knowledge
- Ability to stock merchandise and create displays
- Attention to detail and retail experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
