The Project Manager will lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to organizational standards. They will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, Portfolio Management, and Program Management CoE. The role involves coordinating project governance, managing risks, and maintaining alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead 1 large or 2-3 medium cross-functional projects from inception to launch.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and milestones in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Delegate tasks based on individual competencies and strengths.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance protocols.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for multiple units to ensure synergy.
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to Portfolio Manager and Program Management CoE.
  • Manage project risks, assess priorities, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Adjust project schedules and targets in collaboration with core teams.
  • Maintain alignment on project scope, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage a RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).
  • Create a post-project sustainment plan.

  • Proactive risk management and mitigation.
  • Maintaining strong governance and documentation practices.
  • Driving continuous improvement and efficiency in project execution.

30-60-90 Day Expectations:

  • First 30 days: Understand project scope, stakeholders, and governance processes. Begin collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • First 60 days: Establish detailed project plans, RAID logs, and milestone tracking. Actively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • First 90 days: Drive execution, report on project progress, and refine risk mitigation strategies. Ensure alignment across teams for seamless project delivery.

Must-Haves:

  • Project Management certification or equivalent experience (Agile preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a vertically integrated, global, specialty retail/project environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort in handling large data sets.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects independently with strong organizational skills.

Plusses:

  • Experience in retail operations and/or across various sales channels.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Operations, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent experience (Agile preferred).
