Pay Range $100,584/yr – $121,392/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience). Role Overview IEEFA seeks a Global Communications Project Manager for a newly created full‑time remote position. The communications staff are embedded in five regional teams. The Project Manager will ensure a cohesive global brand and manage cross‑regional projects, campaigns, and assets strategically for all regional teams. Position is remote, open to candidates worldwide, except those in France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, or Argentina. Visa sponsorship not available. Key Responsibilities Design and implement global campaigns aligned with cross‑regional research priorities and organizational strategy in collaboration with the Global Management Team. Monitor global trends in energy, finance, and policy to inform strategic planning. Support partnerships with aligned organizations, media outlets, and thought leaders. Implement and uphold visual and editorial branding standards. Collaborate with communications leads, analysts, and partners to identify strategic narratives. Track and evaluate communications performance, global reach, and media impact. Manage IEEFA’s global digital channels, ensuring consistent, high‑impact messaging. Supervise the Web Content Lead to deliver cohesive website projects. Champion digital innovation across IEEFA’s platforms. Internal Collaboration & Capacity Building Strengthen cross‑regional collaboration and knowledge sharing through proactive internal communications. Partner with IT to ensure communications software supports regional teams. Facilitate meetings of IEEFA’s Global Communications Team. Provide reports to the Global Management Team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field. At least seven years of progressive experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or media relations, ideally in a research, academic, or nonprofit environment. At least three years of strong leadership and project‑management skills. Success managing sophisticated digital campaigns and online engagement strategies. Strong facilitation, consensus building, conflict resolution, negotiation, and clear communication skills. Exceptional writing, editing, and strategic thinking skills. Commitment to sustainable energy and IEEFA’s mission. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Familiarity with key topics related to the energy transition. Experience coordinating remotely across multiple international regions. Work Schedule Remote, full‑time. Collaboration across time zones may require early morning or later evening hours; time off will be provided to compensate.
