At FDI Services Inc., we live our core values: Take Care of Each Other, Build Great Things, Be Innovative and Have Fun DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement electrical systems for solar energy projects, including PV arrays, inverters, and storage solutions. Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for solar installations. Perform load calculations, energy yield analysis, and system sizing. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, renewable energy standards, and safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Troubleshoot and maintain solar systems to ensure optimal performance. Stay updated on emerging solar technologies and industry best practices. Registered Professional Engineer, Professional Licensee, or Engineer-in-Training in Alberta. Minimum 8-10 years experience in solar PV system design and implementation. CSA Solar Training - "Construction Electrician (NOC 7241) Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Certified" - Considered an asset.
