As a Greenspace Supervisor, you'll coordinate the maintenance of green spaces across subdivisions, facilities, and cemeteries, also supervising seasonal staff. Expect a balanced workload of manual tasks and administrative duties, including budget management and project oversight. The role demands adherence to the latest landscaping trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the implementation of the Greenspace Maintenance Plan
• Manage greenspace operating budget efficiently
• Direct seasonal workers in plant care and landscaping tasks
• Carry out winter duties including snow clearing
• Assist in hiring and coordinating landscape contractors
Requirements:
• Professional certification in horticulture or landscaping
• 5 years' experience in groundskeeping
• 2 years in a supervisory role
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory abstract
• Knowledge of annual/perennial plants in Zone 2
