In this part-time, 12-month contract role, you will work closely with our Director of Communications and Community Engagement. Your contributions will enhance our nonprofit storytelling, connecting families and supporters through effective communications and fundraising efforts. Key skills required include social media management, content creation, and experience with tools such as WordPress and Mailchimp.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and schedule social media content across platforms
• Update website content using WordPress
• Develop and distribute newsletters via Mailchimp
• Produce graphics and promotional materials as needed
• Assist in annual fundraising campaigns and track engagement metrics
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Canva, Mailchimp, and Google Workspace
• Experience in video editing using relevant software
• Strong writing skills adhering to CP Style Guide
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
