Senior Full Stack Engineer

The role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can take ownership of a range of large, ambiguous, and challenging projects and products. What you’ll do: Work on challenging and ambitious engineering problems. Have extreme ownership over major features and products. Take an incredible level of responsibility and autonomy. Who you are: Someone who excels in taking on extreme ownership and accountability. Full‑stack engineer with 3+ years of experience as part of a development team. Familiarity with TypeScript, React Native, React, and Node.js. Strong backend experience and a passion for clean code. Capable of weighing tradeoffs between robustness and speed. Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, and efficient in managing limited resources. Low ego, extremely intelligent, quick to learn, and willing to roll up your sleeves to tackle tasks - big or small. Bonus: Prior experience in fintech. Prior experience with serverless architectures. Prior experience with mobile development and app deployment. Familiarity with AWS. Strong design skills and a passion for creating beautiful UIs. Based in Vancouver.
