Job ID Technology Architect - Senior Title Technology Architect - Senior Location 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON Duration 252 days Description The resources will serve as subject matter experts supporting a range of cloud initiatives across the Government of Ontario’s enterprise environments. Deliverables Designing and enabling cloud solutions primarily in Azure, AWS, and GCP, with some support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Engineering and configuring advanced security controls for both existing and new cloud platforms. Supporting complex migrations from on‑premises infrastructure to public cloud environments. Developing, updating, and maintaining provisioning pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code to enable scalable, automated delivery of cloud services. Creating tools and scripts for data collection, reporting, and operational insights across multi‑cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance environment provisioning pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code to support scalable cloud service delivery. Integrate and secure cloud services for enterprise applications across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI. Design and document reusable technology patterns for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, including low‑code/no‑code deployments and AI solutions. Advance the GoCLOUD product by implementing new features and capabilities aligned with its maturity roadmap. Contribute to product planning activities including roadmap development, service documentation, process optimization, and communication strategies. Work Arrangement This position is listed as "Onsite"; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00‑5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location. Expected Skills & Experience Advanced design and implementation knowledge for Azure or AWS, including compute, networking, storage, identity & security, monitoring, automation, data services, CI/CD, cost management, and AI services. Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Load Balancer, etc.) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) where applicable. Strong security expertise: Azure Entra, Entra CIEM, Entra Verified ID, Conditional Access, Intune integration, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Identity, Zero Trust principles, PowerShell/Graph API automation, Azure Blueprints, NIST/CIS compliance. Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, CloudFormation, and automation of policy as code with Sentinel, Azure Policy, AWS Config. Continuous integration/continuous deployment integration using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, etc. Secrets management with Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager. Knowledge of cloud AI services: Azure AI, AWS AI, Google Vertex AI, LangChain for RAG pipelines, document parsing. Project experience: stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, third‑party integration management, leading technical teams, communication, decision‑making under constraints, mentoring.
