Senior Lead Accounting & FP&A - Laval/Hybrid - sector pharma

$90K + bonus - large company


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Participate in the annual budget and forecasting process; including presentations;
  • Focus on revenues/sales
  • Assist in month ends
  • Recognize opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement and act as a key player in their implementation;
  • Identify risks and opportunities arising from the planning exercise;
  • Participate in the presentation of monthly financial statements and explain the various variances (e.g. versus Budget);
  • Produce various ad hoc or recurring reports to support the business partners and adapt to their needs;
  • Use effective communication adapted to the target audience;
  • Develop reports with key performance indicators (KPI) to support strategic analysis;
  • Provide direct support to his/her department head and finance team colleagues for ad hoc requests;
  • Undertake financial analysis as required by the team or projects.



Qualifications:


  • CPA an asset but more important experience
  • 5 years + experience with revenue forecast
  • bilingual
  • good knowledge of excel

Rôle et responsabilités :


  • Participer au processus budgétaire annuel et au processus de prévisionnel ; y compris les présentations ;
  • Focus chiffre d'affaires
  • Fin de mois
  • Reconnaître les opportunités et fournir des recommandations d'amélioration et agir comme acteur clé à l’implantation de celle-ci ;
  • Identifier les risques et les opportunités qui se dégagent de l'exercice de planification ;
  • Participer à la présentation des états financiers mensuels et expliquer les différents écarts (Ex. versus Budget) ;
  • Produire divers rapports Ad hoc ou récurrent pour soutenir les partenaires d’affaires et s’adapter à leurs besoins ;
  • Utiliser une communication efficace et adapté à l'auditoire visé ;
  • Développer des rapports avec indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) pour soutenir l'analyse stratégique;
  • Offrir un soutien direct à son chef des services et à ses collègues de l’équipe finance pour des demandes ponctuelles ;
  • Entreprendre des analyses financières selon les besoins ou projets de l’équipe.



Qualifications


  • CPA un atout, plus important l'expérience
  • 5 ans + d'expérience avec budget de chiffre d'affaires
  • bilingue
