Overview The physician will integrate into a team of two experienced providers within a well-established interdisciplinary environment. The medical staff is committed and actively engaged, while the support staff is dedicated and stable. As part of the Primary Care Networks initiative, the clinic has robust connections with surrounding hospitals and medical professionals. It serves a diverse patient population spanning all ages and a wide range of medical conditions. Salmo is located near Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, as well as Nelson and Castlegar. Part-time opportunities at local hospitals are available, including Emergency, Obstetrics, inpatient care, OR assist, or Long-term care, depending on the physician's interests. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is closed on weekends and statutory holidays. Coverage is arranged in consultation with colleagues, and participation in local hospital rotas is encouraged.
