Grow plants and support customers as a Seasonal Nursery Worker in Niagara-on-the-Lake, using greenhouse care and irrigation skills. Full-time seasonal work runs March through December 2027, including weekdays and weekends.
Brookdale Treeland Nurseries Limited is hiring Seasonal General Labour workers for varied nursery activities. You will prepare soil, plant bulbs and seeds, monitor greenhouse crops, and maintain plants for sale. The work also includes customer gardening information, inventory support, equipment use, and cleaning areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare soil and plant bulbs, seeds, and cuttings
- Monitor greenhouse crops for weeds, insects, diseases, and fertilizer problems
- Spray plants and regulate irrigation systems
- Dig, cut, transplant, and prepare plants for sale
- Maintain inventory, order materials, and clean working areas
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, diploma, or education required
- Experience is an asset
- Availability for full-time seasonal work from March through December 2027
- Availability Monday through Friday and weekends
