The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity Specialist supporting the Director and Program Managers by providing a secure environment and information assurance for protection of our sensitive information and assets. Come join our Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) dynamic information technology cybersecurity team, working with Department of Defense (DoD) and industry leaders Our IT/Cyber specialists solve highly complex problems and take part in a variety of projects to promote national security through nuclear deterrence. They decide what needs to be done, make sure it happens, and solve the most complex, high-risk aspects of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program - America's Nuclear Triad. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing. Work may occasionally require the employee to work outside the normal business hours, such as overtime or an irregular work shift.
