As part of the Back Office Development team, you will play a vital role in transforming core operational systems from COBOL and Easytrieve. We're looking for candidates with expertise in application modernization and target languages like Java, Python, and Go. Engage in meaningful projects that directly impact our operational success and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze COBOL programs and reverse-engineer business rules
• Develop scalable microservices and APIs in modern languages
• Implement API gateways and conduct parallel shadow testing
• Transition from legacy functions to modern architectures
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• 1+ years in back office software development
• Strong knowledge of application modernization techniques
• Experience in Java, Python, Golang, or C#
• Understanding of legacy systems (JCL, CICS, DB2)
• Familiarity with test-driven development practices
